More than 100'000 CERNids registered!
Since June 20th 2006, Oracle HR database maintained by AIS is allocating CERNids above 100'000. CERNid is assigned to any member of the personnel and employee of a CERN contractor and is used for years to identify persons. The 100'000 limit was foreseen for more than one year as the risk for a Y2K-similar bug was real. All AIS systems have been checked to make sure the 6 digits bug would not occur.
