CTA - Core Training Application

The Core Training Application
is the application developped at CERN
to handle the training followed by the CERN
population and/or at CERN.
It has been developed using Oracle Web Server 2.1 and has a web interface.
For the first phase of CTA
the main users are in the Educational
services who handle internal training. Wider access is foreseen to
handle external and divisional training.
CTA
provides all the functionality required to create courses and its sessions,
receive the application requests coming from EDH,
attach them to already created sessions, the charging to the divisions,
...
To replace CTA and for implementing Individual
Training Plans several alternatives will be analyze in the
following Training
Application Feasibility Study.
