Inventory
Welcome to the Inventory Home page. The inventory
application was designed and implemented to allow the divisional responsibles
to administrate the equipment within their division. For items having
an initial value of CHF.1000,-, the administration in the inventory
system is obligatory. When a piece of equipment is no longer used, either
because it is out-dated, or because it is lost or stolen, that piece
can be moved from the active inventory to the archives.
The application runs on the Web as part of the AIS common menu: http://found.cern.ch.
The security is guaranteed by the AIS common login. Before access is
granted to the application, the user must enter his/her AIS login name
and password. This is the same login as used in the other AIS applications
like EDH, WebBHT and CFU.
