AIS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What do I have to do to get the AIS Common Login? Users of the AIS website are requested to have an AIS
common login in order to access some of our pages.
2. How can I get an overview of the whole site content? To get an overview of the whole site content, have a look at the sitemap.
3. What is AIS ? AIS which stands for Administrative Information Services is the IT-AIS group. Historically the groups specialised in quite different aspects of Administrative services, but over time, and with the introduction of the web, the groups and their activities began to merge under the AIS umbrella. The main objective of AIS is to provide CERN with a set of integrated and reliable Administrative Information Systems.
4. Who is behind AIS ? Please look at the organization chart where you can see exactly who is involved, and which section they belong to.
5. What do I do if I'm not sure if my request is for AIS or for another service at CERN ? If in any doubt, please contact the AIS Support. Once you have given some details about your request our Helpdesk staff will be able to determine if it is for AIS, or for another service at CERN whose coordinates they will give you.
